Nonfiction

For over 20 years, I’ve written about science, technology, culture and systemic injustice, with bylines in TIME, Men’s Health, The Boston Globe, and beyond. My investigative reporting has uncovered the stories of Black men wrongfully sentenced to death and resurrected the buried legacies of Black veterans. I’ve won multiple California Journalism Awards for features on longevity tech, robotic-assisted surgery and the struggle of Black-owned businesses in the wake of COVID.
Also: wrote reviews and think pieces for Janelle Monae’s Wondaland label.
